There are also a number of other bands called Bride of the Atom including and English and US bands.
These bands post date the Australian Bride of the Atom.
The Australian Bride of the Atom was formed by Rick Ferrara and Brett Thomas with David Bullock in 1995 in Melbourne Australia. The band played their final show in 2002. Brett Thomas died 28 February 2011 so the band will not continue.

This is the Bio for the English Bride of the Atom.
Raised on the South Coast by wolves and seagulls a small party of men boarded the good ship Bride in search of gold and travelled upstream. Upon this epic journey many men were lost at sea, the latest was thrown overboard in a summer storm, never to be seen again.Eventually they moored good ship Bride and set up residence in a small fishing town. The locals following the great ginger witchunt of 2006 cast them out and the crew of Bride retreated to a cave in the darkest territory of British soil, Luton. From their cave they hatched plans and began to make music under the name “Bride of the atom”
